Fall Cleanup & Dumpster Day Is Right Around the Corner!

It’s time for our annual Fall Cleanup & Dumpster Day! The Joslyn Castle Neighborhood Association is once again partnering with the Gifford Park Neighborhood Association to help our neighbors clean up and dispose of large or bulky items.

Clean Out, Clean Up & Help Beautify Our Neighborhoods
The Fall Cleanup program is a joint effort between the City of Omaha and participating neighborhood and homeowner associations. This free annual event gives Omaha residents an opportunity to dispose of or recycle large and bulky items that are not accepted through regular curbside waste collection. Learn more about the citywide fall clean up efforts, here.
Items may include old furniture, appliances, mattresses and other household items that can be difficult to dispose of through regular trash service. If you need items picked up, reach out to Jim Winston at jimwinston59@gmail.com or call Gifford Park's Chris Foster at 402-290-8187

Please note: We are NOT an appliance site this year. Tires will not be accepted at the Fall Cleanup. The City of Omaha has a separate tire collection program.
Volunteers Needed!
A successful Cleanup Day takes plenty of helping hands, and we need volunteers! We are looking for neighbors who can volunteer for one- or two-hour shifts throughout the day. Volunteers help keep traffic moving, direct residents, assist with unloading and make the entire event run smoothly.
Our previous Cleanup Day was such a success thanks in large part to the wonderful volunteers who donated their time and energy. We would love to have another great turnout this fall.
